I like the easy-going but realistic tone of the book, which fortunately never gets too 'Disney.' The 'Big Adventure' part is actually only a small subsection of the book, which tells more about farmyard life than just goats going on an excursion.
I imagine kids would enjoy it, even if some of the longer words like "nonchalantly" and "colostrum" might take a bit of explaining.
